NEAREST INTERNATIONAL AIRPORT – Fujairah Airport in the city and Dubai International Airpot.
BY ROAD – Driving to Fujairah from Dubai takes around 2 hours 42 minutes. This drive is very picturesque due to the mountainous route and beautiful views of Hajar mountains.
The roads of UAE are very smooth, safe and well maintained. There are some villages in between where there are Friday markets on the roadside for stopovers. You can buy fresh fruits directly from the farms, palm trees handicrafts, and Persian carpets from local people/vendors.
There are many luxurious beach resorts along the coastline of Fujairah. We chose Le Méridien Al Aqah Beach Resort for our stay.

Dining Facilities in the resort – Continental. I like Sapore for Italian food. Baywatch poolside bar is good for drinks. Gonu Bar and Grill is very lively with the sounds of waves.
Breakfast Layout is very sumptuous and with lots of variety and has a decent seating arrangement.
There are also lots of trekking and hiking points nearby in the mountains with lots of professional trekkers coming over. Mountain bikes and camping is quite popular in local areas.
