Putumayo Goes Back To The Salsa Well, And It’s All Very good

I feel like I utilised to get e-cards all the time back when the internet was a young lad, now the only e-cards I get are from Putumayo — not that there’s something wrong with that. Primarily given that their e-cards perform fantastic music (I come to feel like I remember a huge proportion of e-cards I applied to get have been of animated cats telling me “Happy Birthday”).

Putumayo’s newest on the net greeting is announcing the release of their new album, “¡Salsa!”, not to be confused with their other salsa album, Salsa All-around The World.

The above video is of New York’s personal Eddie Palmieri with his new band, Perfecta II, carrying out Sujétate la Lengua, a track featured on “¡Salsa!”. it’s over 9 minutes prolonged, but come on, it’s Eddie Palmieri, you can listen to this all day lengthy and hardly ever get bored. Black Sand Beaches of St Vincent

We docked up at St Vincent, the largest island in the Grenadines. I visited the Grenadines for my 10th birthday but missed out St Vincent so this was my first time visiting this island. First impressions were good. Sitting on my balcony, I looked at the roughed cliffs that scoured the coastlines, jagged rocks at their feet. Turquoise waves lapped at the fallen rocks. It certainly looked like a wild island which was a relief after visiting overly-commercialised St Lucia. I'd heard that this island had black sand beaches, something which I as yet to witness.
