A Magical Guide to the Warner Bros Studio Tour in London: Everything You Need to Know

Image
Fact: In my entire life, I’ve only cried once at a tourist attraction. And judge me all you want, but this cryfest happened at a Harry Potter studio tour. … Allow me to explain myself. Like most children born in the 90s, much of my youth was spent daydreaming about the arrival of my Hogwart’s acceptance letter. As this dream dwindled with the hardships of adulting, I instead took comfort in carbs and magical movie marathons. But, it didn’t take much for these childhood dreams to resurface. A trip to London was all it took to re-open the floodgates (literally). Let me tell you: for a Harry Potter fan, there is no attraction on this Earth more overwhelming and amazing than the  Warner Bros Studio Tour London, (AKA London’s Harry Potter set tour), which brings you through the filming site for all 8 movies in the Harry Potter franchise. In addition to sets, you’re also shown countless props, the best gift shop in the wo...

From Travel to Photo – Chapter 2 – For how long should I travel Europe?

Image
This is the second chapter of my mini guide on how to plan your travel to Europe. In chapter one, we have learned how to find the best time to visit Europe. For this chapter, we will continue to discuss on how to fix the length of Europe travel. To successfully plan an Europe vacation trip, fixing an optimum period of time for how long should I travel Europe is as important as choosing the best time to fly. It is the second element of our travel plan to Europe, after timing. Europe is a huge continent. It consists of 50 countries, 27 of which are member states of the European Union, and covers an area of approximately 10 Million Km²! If travelers were to explore the whole Europe with hundreds of cities of interest, they will need years to do so! Eventhough not all cities in Europe are tourist frequented destinations, travelers will still need at least a year or four seasons to cover them all at one time! However, this is not advisable for a budget traveler, since traveling Europe is ...

Fiji’s best kept secret: why you need to visit Taveuni Island

Image
When planning our trip to Fiji, we wanted more than a resort experience. In our research, we came across Taveuni Island, and boy were we glad we made the effort to visit and explore this beautiful paradise! With friendly locals, empty beaches and untouched nature we often felt like we were the only people (or at least one of the very few!) that was discovering this island. I had to think twice before writing this post, as I enjoyed my time here so much I selfishly have wanted to keep this island all to myself. Getting to Taveuni Island Taveuni is a short 1 hr flight from Viti Levu, which is the main island of Fiji and where most tourists start their Fijian holidays. As so few people visit this beautiful place, the planes are tiny and only fit approximately 15-20 passengers per flight. This was the first time I’d ever been on a such a small plane, so my camera definitely got a work-out. Sightseeing from our flight Why do you need to visit Taveuni Island?  I was honestly b...
